Louise Paglen is VA accredited attorney and is qualified to represent families before the Veterans Administration. We help veterans and their surviving spouses become eligible and apply for little known Veterans benefits that can help Seniors pay for home health care services, assisted living care, or nursing home care.
The Veterans pension program (also known as Aid and Attendance) is a public benefit program that is available to Veterans and their surviving spouses who meet certain eligibility requirements. There is no requirement that the Veteran have served in combat or became disabled as a result of military service. Although the Veterans pension program has strict eligibility requirements, we are able to quickly determine whether a Veteran or surviving spouse of a Veteran is potentially eligible for a monthly pension to help pay for medical care for people with disabilities or those over age 65.
If an otherwise eligible Veteran or surviving spouse is not currently eligible based on medical need or financial resources, we can help the client plan for eligibility at a future date when long term medical care may be needed.
